Some say I’m a delight, others say I need to shut up once in a while. Regardless, my name is Polly Jean Harrison, hi!
I’m a journalist, writer and general opinion holder. And yes, I WILL write words for money.
To tell you a bit about me, I’m a chubby 24 year old welsh girl who has a wacky sense of style, is allergic to the colour black and loves talking. I’m an avid tea drinker and Shakespeare enthusiast, and the first article I ever wrote was for English coursework about how much I hated kindles (though I no longer have such animosity).
I have just completed a Masters in Magazine Journalism at Nottingham Trent University (for which I was awarded a distinction!), and am now working as Junior Journalist for The Fintech Times as well as carrying on with my freelance work.
If you’re interested, I write about a whole host of things but generally hover around lifestyle, history, theatre, tech, body positivity, well-being and anything else I find interesting. To see my published work check out the tabs at the top of the page!
